Dr. Airini brings her wealth of experience to her role as the Provost and Vice-President Academic at the University of Saskatchewan (USask), where she assumed her position in February 2021. Holding a professorial appointment in the College of Education, Dr. Airini's illustrious three-decade career spans leadership roles both internationally and domestically, with a focus on equity in higher education, Indigenous advancement, and the translation of research and policy into tangible improvements in education outcomes. With over 20 years of senior academic administration experience at esteemed universities worldwide, Dr. Airini's distinguished career includes serving as the Dean of the interdisciplinary Faculty of Education and Social Work at Thompson Rivers University (BC, Canada). Notably, Dr. Airini holds academic appointments in three countries – Australia, Canada, and New Zealand (NZ), reflecting her global perspective and collaborative approach to academic scholarship and administration.
