IDays 2025

Dr. Akomolafe's work is an inspiring and innovative response to climate emergencies. He works in liminal spaces to try to open new ways to approach the crisis (that is not only climatic, it involves the complex entanglement of social justice and environmental justice issues).
Dr. Akomolafe will provide TRU audiences with a provocative *online* talk on anti-racism, decolonial efforts, and healing, titled “Why I Am Not An Anti-Racist.” This presentation would explore the complexities of racialization, healing, and identity from his unique perspective, and he is confident it will provoke meaningful conversation.

Engage in interactive displays as students share their unique stories and showcase their cultural pride. Students will present authentic treasures from various cultures, so, don't miss this opportunity to connect, celebrate, and appreciate this cultural delight!
